I'm a Cubase SX2 myself but I'm of the opinion you can be taught to use a program but you can't be taught make heat!

well basically like a new programme at a new job...we must be tort the basics thereof and then the rest is for yourself..i learnt to use fl7 on my own...learnt to master and record cats on my own...simple steps were shown to me and the shit just fell in place...yo pro...i got a new huslte im busy on...oints feel welcome..its called "cpt str8 street journals"...like the smack dvd....but more entertaining and more dope stuff....?

I do have the video tutorial DVD for Reason 4 but its too big(2GB) so I cant upload it on the net.

As a (very) novice beatmaker I still struggle with Reason. I understand the controls but I find myself involved with too many options and occasionnally becoming frustrated when I can't achieve a particular sound. I guess I need to keep working at it.

I think I've produced maybe one decent beat on Reason. I'll never be in the league of Alias or Oints or Nyambz etcetera, but hopefully I can hold my own one day.

And my studio setup is sounding fresh at the moment, as everyone here will understand very shortly...

im only at the part where the pattern is having the light gooi left to eight ne...then i choose the drum...snare etc...but how da more do i save that kak!!!

i just got FL8 ,Cubase SX3 and SoundForge 7.0(Reason 4 was too big to fit in my flash) from some cats..daym Heads !Dudes pulled some ProVerb's Head-Rush stunts on me..i had to spit a 16 for them to prove i was worth givin them softwares to. authentication of some sort..Shit..Lets see how long it takes me to turn the noise into music..

I dont know about that either... look at it as they complement each other...

I sometimes use Reason as Rewire for drumming... but unfortunately Reason can only accommodate FL when they are both rewired in Steinberg host like I use Nuendo ... but beware of CPU usage... might be fatal to those slow snailing PC... niccz on servers now ;D
