HOL UP rob, HOL UP, i gotta stop u right there and speak in my man's defense....

that was not Optic Nerve "singing", that was Optic Nerve in the studio at 1 oclock in the morning after a series of relentless & dedicated recordings for this tape. in the intro to the VOL 2, it was him going willy nilly and just i in particular decided to take it and make it an intro, why, cos i like what ma nigga did, i liked the fact that he was uninhibited, he was relaxed enough to do sumin like that in one take, one take...

...our aim when we made this album was to not to make it as generic as possible and not to have it constricted by "usual" ways of recording an album...if we did that, then we would have had an Lp that tasted like cardboard...

Optic Nerve is one of the most multi talented individuals i have had the pleasure of working with...

Caught between worlds: This makes up for all the things I complained about on Super hero. Rob one, I was like, what!! Good on ya.
Murder she wrote - Such a Holstar fitting beat, you murdered it son! Now I really need to get my hands on your album, tell me how.
Watchu doin? - Sounds like some one's in love! Loving it. Can't hear everything you saying but beat and flow go really well.

oh oh oh, i made the mistake of not giving you guys an update of how the album has been doing, pardon the god...


well, a few days ago we got mail and as it was it was a blog owner who had independently scooped up our album from one of the "official" platforms we managed to get for it. he bumped it and evidently loved it, loved it enough for that matter that he wanted to host it on his blog too...
