well Steve Nash is technically the first....

but there is cat called Thabo Sefolosha who is playing for the OKC thunder.... he aint bad!!! Cool....

but yes he might be Sotho or Tswana but that doesnt make him South African. or does it?

Well this dude considers himself South African. His pops hails from Mamelodi. I've spotted Thabo there last year at the Good Friday basketball tournament. He visits SA (Mamelodi) every year apparently.
