It seems they have confused the concept of CHEAP, with value.
Cheap means it costs you less and you have some money to save and spend on other things.
Value means it costs a little more and you have nothing left over for other shit, yet it will cost you less in the long run to maintain and keep it in a running condition.
Tata Indica - cheaper = Windows Pc
VW Golf = bit more expensive, better value = Mac
If they really wanted to show how much better value PCs can offer they should have shown how much money you can save by buying a Laptop running Linpus or Ubuntu Linux instead of Microsoft's overpriced rubbish, which often adds about R2000 to the price of a simple netbook. I know because I just paid that for mine, since I couldn't find any stores that stock ones with Linux. sOme even remove Linux and install Windows.
And yes I am an Apple fanboy, simply because I spent years working in a design environment and got to compare Mac and PC. Pc does not come close and you can still use a Mac that is five years old today and get the same performance as you would from a new PC.
Now if only apple could offer the same value for money when it comes to their portable music players. f***ing dicks.
