USB Mic Problem - HELP!!

I really need your help. I recently got a Samson 10CU (USB) mic. plug and play.

but its really been giving me problems - seems that after 2 days of figuring it out. It seems not to be being picked up in Acid Pro or Cubase unless i select the Mic Drivers (Samson-Asio) as my primary sound driver. however this means i cannot hear other sound / instrumentals. furthermore there is delay - split second delay. how do i change that......??

secondly seems not to be being picked up in sony acid pro and i have tried changing all the options...and downloaded asio drivers....

in cubase -its not being picked up in the input panel in the individual tracks...

anyone know whats wrong!?

Couple of thoughts:

- For Cubase, I had a similar problem. Click on the In1/In2 button above each fader the mixer and switch it around. That normally helps.

- The delay is caused by buffer lag. In Cubase, select Devices > Device setup > VST Multitrack. Play a little with the settings. Sorry I can't give exact, it depends on your system, but it should sort it.

seems to be working somehow for me. im not sure how...coz like i said seems not to be being picked up as an audio input in the individual track, maybe because its coming through the USB i presume. but its there as the recording device....

if i have problems i know who to holla at. cheers dudes.
