What about whites in general speaking black languages? I for one think whites don't deserve the privledge or have to learn any they have had centuries to learn the fact they never learnt or had the desire speaks volumes bout what they think of us, to put you in perspective they know klingon have sona devices to communicate with f***ing dolphins etc if u can make the effort to understand an imaginary alien race whats learning to say mpum as opposed to maphum.

@brick you right..they could have if they wanted to...and it will be to their advantage if they did..but again as you say they dont deserve it cause they would most prob mess it up ...and also the history behind the ish...but iv been in situations where khosa is spoken and i dont understand and im stuck between "is it my fault that i cant understand and i should learn the language" and "english is universal and its not like im transparent"..
...some people say why make the effort where if we all stuck to english it would be ok...but another thing i notice is that alota"black peeps" understand afrikaans which was one thing "whites" had over their "minions" in those days and now most peeps i know do speak afrikaans and i ask" why cant we make the effort"..?not sure if i make sense..
