This shit is needs to stop. What do these cats do @ training kante ?

PSL players are being overpaid..a below average player gets a cool R50K a month plus bonuses just for showing up to these many goal less draws they play..dudes lack motivation.and many are comfortable wit wher they at and wat they gettin..only excitin players are the ones aiming for something, like bafana call ups(Daine klate, erwin isaacs,Baron etc) or foreigners tryna get overseas contracts(Laffor, pelembe etc)

Too many Goal less draws the past 2 days made me lose interest.Pirates,Chiefs and Sundowns were very disappointing.

Im qouting my fellow Kickoff forumite DazerII,He made very good points.

"Myth: Modise is burnt out
It seems like majority of people have fallen into the media chorus “Modise is burnt out, he needs to rest, blah blah blah” to divert the attention from strings of poor performances from this player. Note that I am not saying he is a BAD player but just stating my view based on my observation.

Compared to many European and South American players I think the excuse of fatigue should not even apply to most of our players. For example if you look at the involvement of players such as CR9/Messi/Drogba/Benzema/Aguerro/Kaka etc, Modise’s last year schedule will look like child’s play. a**uming the above players missed 8 league games in their clubs will mean they played 30 league games thus same # of games as Modise (a**uming he played every league game). These players also play in Champions League (league stage and knockouts), which our Modise doesn’t because our teams are pathetic in Africa. Unlike South Africa, the national teams of these players had to qualify for SA2010, which meant these players had to endure intense WC qualifiers compared to S.A friendly games with the likes of Canada, Australia, and others. On top of this, many of these teams end up reaching the finals in their domestic cups, which OP hardly achieves. Taking out occasional FIFA friendlies that they also participate in and their pre-season friendly tours one can still see the difference.

Looking at all this it’s amazing that one hardly ever hears the fans of Barca/Madrid/Chelski/Milan etc giving fatigue excuse for CR/Messi when they play isht. The fact of the matter is; Modise needs to get back to the basics if he is serious about taking his game to another level. Any efforts to defend him against critics will not get him anywhere closer to playing in credible European league.

I think Modise should ask himself some of these questions;
1)If I am an attacking midfielder what should be my goal tally in a season (target 5/10/12??)?
2)If I am a winger am I not supposed to be trying to create goals by providing quality crosses to my strikers? If players like Cale/Klaite/Nale are occasionally able to beat players and make decent crosses, why can’t I do the same?
3)Why most of the time my pa**es don’t reach their intended recipients? Is there perhaps something wrong with my “CURRENT” pa**ing technique??? Is this POSING technique adding value to my game?
4)Since I like to take shots, what is it that I am doing wrong to always shoot wayward or take weak shots that sometimes struggle to even reach the keeper? What is wrong with my current shooting technique?
5)I have been chosen as a dead ball specialist for my team, what am I doing to improve on this. What is my target conversion rate per season? (2/4/5)
6)Talent wise I believe I am or might be on the same level with many players in Europe (Pienaar/Arteta/Mikel/Carrick/Jenas/Muntari/Granero/Keita/Benayoun,etc, what is it that they are doing and I am not doing??

Finally:
Am I contempt with being South African star rather than global star, if Arshavin only became known at 27 why can’t I do the same? Btw I know players can suffer from having a dip in form but for Teko is getting way too long for my liking. I hope he won’t be like Kevin Phillips or Diego Tristan of South Africa"

Im so proud of Chelsea Right now.

 ;D Come on man!!
Where the hell did you get Bedtner, dude looks like them typical Wits University strikers ;D Overall i think it was a great game Arsenal played very well but as Essien once said  "Pretty Football Doesn't win Title", i recogn Arsene should have bought 2-3 quality players during the transfer market.

Poor Arsenal. I hope Cesc can see that he'll never win anything over there and go back home. God knows what kind of a player he could be alongside Xavi and Iniesta.

Nicklas Bendtner

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/234976-52-reasons-to-back-nicklas-bendtner
Its old news though.

Bendtner, incredibly, has offered to personally refund every Gooner fan who bought new kits with his old No. 26 printed on them. He has changed it to 52 because it is a "special number to me personally."

The easy joke here is that he will probably only have to fork out around £40. I think Andrey Arshavin would have had to use a good couple of weeks' wages in contrast.

Bendtner was the butt of many jokes and jeers last season, and he will probably be ridiculed for this gesture, no matter how refreshing it is to hear a megabucks footballer offer to refund us common folk.

Would David Beckham refund fans who bought the hair gel he endorsed, only to find that it still allows your fringe to flop out of place the same as all the other remedies you've tried?

Would Eric Cantana refund your Renault Laguna when you discover it's not as efficient as he claims?

While this is all tongue-in-cheek, we don't expect footballers to form an orderly queue behind Bendtner's example. Nor do we expect Bendtner himself to repeat the trick, as he missed three sitters within the first half hour of the season and bought traveling fans an apologetic pint after the Everton game...

Let's hope that this is a sign of Bendtner maturing and maintaining the humility which has, at times, threatened to desert him.

We all know he was caught with his trousers down after the Manchester United Champions League semifinal humbling, and that he likes to wear bright pink boots.

Bendtner was booed incessantly at times last season, and while this behaviour from fans is pretty shameful, considering the boy is 21, it did keep his feet partially in contact with the ground.

With the departure of his biggest dressing room foe, Emmanuel Adebayor, Bendtner must feel that his time has arrived. And his record last season should fill him with confidence.

After all, 15 goals for a 21-year-old sub deserves some kudos, especially when you have no first touch and people are calling for your head.

Bendtner must find a way of dropping the tag Ole Gunnar Solskjaer found branded permanently upon his backside: super sub.

Bendtner is at his most deadly as an impact player at the moment. He is the only option at Arsenal that resembles a "plan B," with his ability in the air that outstrips every other Arsenal player by a country mile. So when he starts, he needs to make it count.

However, he's having to adapt to playing wide in the 4-3-3 formation Arsene Wenger is currently deploying. This probably won't do the Dane any favours, as it is a more stringent test of his touch and team play.

But he also utilises this role to attack headers from deep, leaping and powering balls into the back of the net with the accomplishment of an Alan Shearer or Duncan Ferguson. Think Chelsea at the tail end of last season.

Bendtner would be more useful in 4-4-2. Eduardo possesses more cla** and clinical instinct, but I could easily envisage a front four of Arshavin on the left, Walcott or Rosicky on the right, and Bendtner alongside Robin Van Persie up front.

These four in tandem would be a real threat to Premiership defences, with a complete mix and balance between technique, dexterity, agility, pace, and power.

Bendtner has a lot of improving to do before he becomes as economic on the pitch as he appears off it, but he started to win fans over by the end of last season and I think he will again vindicate Wenger's unwavering belief in the club's Young Guns
