yo, Friday im coping a new personal computer for  7 grands and im thinking, is it possible to connect the internet from your phone to your computer? some dude said it works, but im skeptical about this

yes it is, but it's 2009. there are better ways. ask your cellphone service provider for info on a 3G modem.

I also don't wanna sign with Hellkom and Neotel doesn't cover Bloem yet.

Guess I'll have to wait till the promised Seacom prices come through.

Deac, check if Neotel covers your area on their site. If not, check Axxes, but you still have to rent an ADsl line from Telkom though.

axxes' prepaid broadband looks mighty tempting I could make that work, 140+(whats the rate again) for hellkom for the adsl and the rest to prepaid broadband

AXXESS has an uncapped deal for R899 pm and on weekends and after hours it runs at top line speed, regardless of what package speed you pay for..
