Wine Concepts is a good shop. Lifestyle Centre on Kloof. They got the good shit and they tell you about the various wines without making you feel like some kind of wine retard.

...maybe you should. but i see youve already touched on it further along. this thread just gave you a gap. 'wine thread: four cousins'. not so much for wine lovers but for when it all goes awry. four cousins represents exactly that. it gets late quick. you can see it, it sets the whole scene. how end of the month comes way too early. dodgy plans for the young and restless must and do get made. and then its 4 am (you should ask p!nk 'i dont wanna be that call at 4 'o clock in the morning'). and then youre on your phone. calling someone you shouldnt. and then its the morning after...when you dont remember what you said

also try the ROBERTSONS SWEET RED or their ROSê.

If we are talking dry reds then u cant go wrong with either

Spuitsdrift shiraz ( R30 max)

or

Nederburg Baronne (R90 - 120)?

and then the alpha & omega for me is
Constantia Uitsig Cab Merlot blend (maybe max R180 now)

or for the people who can't live without  ROSê, you should try "blanc De Noir", I know Bochendal has one for less that R60 and it's really really nice.

Now peeps tell me, what's a house wine? I get offered these when I'm at some restaurant, but I'm igno when it comes to these thins. if it wasn't for women, I would not care about any of this. I saw it at Woolies on Monday as well.
