okay, i see DUCK DOWN is really going hard at the CYBER SPACE AGE of video imagery, its cool and all but i hope they dont dwell on it too much. cos after seeing the "double barrel" video by Marco & Torae, that ofcourse came out before this one, you can very much appreciate that the same mindset if not detail was used...GREEN SCREEN CGI that although cool can exaggerate a bit too much...i love the concept, with cats navigating through the "game" and all, trying to find your "independence" as Buck & Chris give you "the manual" but the problem is you get lost in the video, what with trying to read the captions (that fly by way to quickly) and also trying to appreciate what else is goin on in the vid at the same time... i mean, one moment you reading the captions, the next you see a huny with a rocket pack on her back flying off into NOWHERE
and like Rob mentioned, WHERE is REVOLUTION, scratches seem like looped sounds now without an actual DJ up in the vid cuttin isht up, even if its on some cyber decks and hes "air scratchin"
all in all...dope WORK from
DUCK DOWN, i like them as much as the next guy, if not more
but still would like to see the HUMAN ELEMENT brought back into VIDEO, them shits had more staying power than something that will tomorrow be replaced by technological innovation...therein lies the double edged sword often found in "advancement"
