Ah I see you've been expecting me.... BTW you guys seem to misunderstand my purism, I feel that you shouldn't f*** wit something unless you can make it substantially better in a number of ways OR if the change you make gives it more depth and subtelty and is an evolution of a clear idea... unneccessary adornment or just arb fiddling for fiddling's sake is something I cant stand.....
What the cats at Overhaulin' did here is quite delightful to me cos frankly the stock GTO, AND in fact all Stock Yank muscle tanks, ARE kak cars, they handle shit, waste power for no reason ( i mean seriously they produce 12cylinders which have less power than a mildly tuned Jap 4cylinder) and can only stop if you put a wall in front of them..... SO if ever there were cars created to be improved by a creative petrol-head then the Yank tanks are them.

heheh,,, naa, that's the type of purism i was expecting ;)

i must say, i generally have no love for american muscle cars, but watching what they did to this one made me change my mind. they tricked that shit out with all the latest shit. big a** engine, new suspension, new brakes, new wheels, new sound system, actually new everything.

now i'm not saying it could compete with a brand new porsche or whatever, but it's not that type of thing,,, it's a top down down on a warm evening ride, big a** engine noise as you power off, bumpin my latest tracks on it's 4k sound system.

i can't decide if it like it more than the Impala,,, tough call :)

Nah man the 64 Impala just got too much personal history for me to ever choose it over a GTO, But I've always had a softspot for them old school Camaro's

Camaro's like these are beggin for a custom... big rims loud systems and more efficinent supercharged small block V8's....
