i cracked up. i think FUBU should now endorse(if thats a proper word to use) Selebi with clothes, perfect moment in SA to market that brand.

when i was poor, I once had my moms buy me some jeans, they cost me R50 bucks i think. on to notice too late that it was a Cerruti knock off, [reverse b]B|B as opposed to [reverse]R|R for Cerruti. i did not feel bad that it was jeans jeans i felt embarra**ed though that it was a knock off. always wore something that covers the loggo on the back pockets.

I used to buy a lot of FUBU clothing when I was back in High School and College because when I was in Middle School, I used to be envious of kids that rocked "urban gear". My mom banned me from wearing those clothes at the time because she labeled them as "gang clothing".

I bought South Pole, Dada, Karl Kani, Ecko, PNB, First Down, Tripple Fat Goose, and
Mecca. I know that some of the labels I had then have been overworn, old fashion,
or sold in Europe only.

Last time I checked...........

Karl Kani, Wu Wear, and Dada are sold in Europe

Tripple Fat Goose is making a comeback

South Pole and Ecko are played out (but still exist)

Mecca is still cool

PNB is now owned by Nick Cannon


The labels I also wear are African Armure (France) and Joker. Joker is more
of a regional label because I can't find any of there clothes in my area (the
East Coast). Joker is more of a West Coast Chicano (Mexican-American)
streetwear label.

Pelle Pelle is still around but I don't see it as much as I used to. Everyone now
wears LRG and Akademiks now.

Selebi further denied Agliotti's claim he bought clothing from fashion label Fubu for him or his children, saying he would never be caught wearing "baggy clothing".

Is he kidding. Have u seen Selebi, tailor fitted of not, anything that he wears is baggy. Dude has a waaaaaaistline on him. His clothes might be fitted when he's wearing them, but when he takes them off they nothing but huge bags.

yeah, I remember when Hilfiger said that his clothes wasn't really made for Black people, another reason why FUBU was created. FUBU (For Us By Us) was a
response of corporate brands neglecting the Black community. Hilfiger is now
bought by Calvin Klien.

On the other hand, ENYCE, Sean Jean, and Rockawear, are also worn today
as well but most people now wear the skater clothing as well as the
metro sexual stuff. I ain't really a fan of Ed Hardy and I will never
rock a Abercrombie and Fitch, Holister, or American Eagle shirt. Them
shits are too tight for me

Ecko and LRG used to be skater clothing but took an interest from the Hip-Hop
community. I remember JNCO used to be big. I heard that they only sell it at
Sears.
