Im trying to give a couple more days before I comment on it. I think its one of those that grow slow on a person.

Ballad Of The Black Gold is one joint that stands out for me. What i like Talib for and what I loved hip-hop for.

I'm usually not a fan of music thats not:

- Depressing
- Abstract
- Absurd (on some death, alien shit) or
- Extemely political

But yo Im really liking this album. I feel a lot of the lyricism is very soft though mara Im finding myself liking songs like "I got work" and "Midnight hour".
Th production is amazing.

I'm enjoying this album.

You know one cant help it but always have a certain expectation when an artist releases something that follows a great album. There a feeling of wanting something similar to that but yet sounding nicer. I had that expectation I think which is why I wasnt sure if I like it or not.

So Saturday when I got out of bed, I just played it without paying much attention to while doing other things. It is after then that I appreciate how it sound. I cant say I have paid much attention to most of the lyrics yet but the flow is still on point, except for in Midnight hour >:( . That song makes me wanna kick Talib on the neck. The song has a great sounding pop feel to it though.

Hi-Tek did well on his part.

I actually just realised that I can't qoute you one thing Kweli has said. Im so caught up on Hi Tek's beats and Kweli's flow blending so well with them that his voice sounds like part of the beat. Too dope.
