Heard something about the creator leaving the show - has the show changed much? I must admit I didn't watch much of the 2nd season or any of the 3rd.
Yep, that's true. Aaron McGruder is no longer working on the show but is working on a
new show with Cartoon Network. He's continuing the "Black Jesus" series but for some
reason, I'm not that interested because it's a live action show. Cartoon Network hasn't
been great since 2006. Their "Adult Swim" block has been garbage due to their
non-Animated programs. These shows are not funny and just have these mediocre or
familiar comedians trying to make a comeback or bored during their free time.
I really don't know the real reason for McGruder's resignation from The Boondocks though.
I'd speculate that it was due to political reasons but I dunno. This kinda reminds me of when
Nickelodeon stole "Ren & Stimpy" from John Kricfalusi back in the '90s. Though I did like
that cartoon as messed up as it was, it did not belong on that network, but hey, Stimpy
became the first gay character that network ever had!!
