Aspiring tag artist

I have never really felt graff as a tool for my expressionisim..etc
but i have recently seen endless tags in JHB and find that i am rather intrested in tagging..anyone know how i can go about this...
or tell me how you started tagging and improved

jus the other night, i was feelin anarchaic. so i hit the street with can and a backpack. Found a deserted wall and proceeded to mutilate the wall with incredible nonsense. So wat i need to know is watagwan wit it.

i couldnt hit a straight line and that shit pissed me the f*** off. i visualised my ish first and i saw this ada shit but wen i put can to wall shit f***ing went beserk dawg.

i thot cats jus woke up and f***in pissed on a wall coz the had arthritis n shit, now i realise the hardwork that goes into making a simple afronaut tag.

so if yall have tips for an eager backpacking wanna be a b-boy bastard with an itchy finger to spray. hit me up rite.

hey, yeah id like sum advise on spraying to... I can tag and shit but wit a marker, or pencil or what eva it b, jus not wit a spray can... how tha hell do i get tha can to listen to me lol i just cant seem to tag wit spray, its just aint accurite enuff, how do i learn how to spray, is there ne tips ne 1 can give me?

i reckon the best way to start graff, as a graff and semi-toy myself, is to start out on paper, working your lettering and styles. if you´re shit on paper, dont think about cans.
if you good on paper, get cans n work your control and techinque.

thats how i did it. took like a year on paper, n only now im spraying.

yeah, just keep drawing.
read the instructions on the can (30cm away) it might seem dumb but drips aren´t as cool as they seem, and (muchos importanto) the only way you´ll learn can control is by actually painting. we all start of as toys so don´t feel bad (I´m still one)

the only way to learn to paint is practice! i´ve been writing for about 2 years and whoeva said start on paper is right. :-o

^^^thank you vandy bar for clearing that up..practice!!and lazy sam is darn rite,if you suck on paper you suck on walls..and asking for internet advice on doing graffiti is just gay and wrong..please preserve graff as the last pure elemnet in hip hop, rapping now has internet battle rhyme tutorials, rappers no longer rap in the flesh..its just dispicable, soon we´ll have internet bombing..and the term "tag artist" is just gay..please refer to it as writing..graffiti writers..
