"Man look at these suckers, I ain´t a rapper, I´m a hustler, it just so happens I know how to rap."
Reasonable Doubt.
I was too young to really get into apprectaing Illmatic for what it was when it dropped. But when Jay came out with Reasonble doubt, the whole aura and "still spending money from 88" attitude, plus all the videos that came from that when they used to play them on our t.v. channel. That was like damn. This new cat is killing it. That track..."I´m feeling it" "Can´t knock the Hustle" "Brooklyn´s Finest" ...(BIG: "If Faith had 2 sons it´ll probably be 2pac´s..get it..2 Pacs") Cla**ic.
I still bump "Regrets" during hard times. That´s a deep track right there.
In closing let me highlight, Jay "never changed"...he was always talking about that cheddar. That´s why that whole Jigga about all bling bling is tired. duh u don´t say! -And that´s not the case anyway if u listen past the ´singles´
Plus fact is he upped and set the trend of the floss factor..he spells it out nicely on his verse on "The Watcher PT2"
That´s enough biggin´ up now!
