So you're obviously a Ford fan... hey they've made sum good cars thru the years and yes the shelby and GT40 are racing icons. but I gotta go wit Mach in that only the Thunderbird concept is really sexy.
The GT40 is the quickest by far, but its a track bitch, you cant really drive it on the road.
No doubt the Shelby got cylinders and horses to spare but that does not a strip-killa make, theres this old skool drag racer in Parow by name of Willie Nel who got a race tuned Gt350 Shelby, and that is a mean bastard, and it looks it.
BUT, this lil 4 cylinder 1600 citi golf my friends and I built, took it to skool 6 times up Killarneys quarter mile, mind you our PHAT-a** T5 ball bearing turbo probly had sumthin to do with it, well the second one anyway, we blew the first one up.
Anyway the moral of the story is that our lil golf could kick a big American V8 up the a** any day of the week and we could run for four days on the petrol the Shelby used to pull out of the driveway.
