Ready D MIXtape

Okay so there are few releases that are truely MIXtapes (I should know right?)..
I'm sure this new Ready D mixtape is gonna be the true representation of an SA MIXtape!
Hear its in Stores go out & get that!

Ancient Men got 2 tracks on this Mixtape.Also, HIPE produces a track on there as well under Hiperdelic.Didnt hear the tape yet.

I bought Ready D’s CD a few weeks back .

Track selection
It’s got a mix of local & international tracks. The only thing I did not like is that it mostly had well-known local tracks – did not expose any new local tracks – AMU & Tebza(5th floor), Rau Rau – Skwatta, A dream led to this -Tumi, Stereotype type Hueman(RIP) from the Groundworks, Attention – ProVerb, Amu & selwyn, Amu – act crazy, Neon Don – track that was on the cape of Good dope album & Ancient man. I think those are the only local tracks on the CD. Forgot POC with Zola. W

Interntional artists & tracks include - Dilated Peoples – Triple optics from their 2000 album, Shabam Saddiq, Sound Providers, Thomas and Jefferson. Forgot the others.

The mixing & scratching is not as good as I expected from Ready D – he sounds so much better live. Nonetheless it’s still worth having in my collection.

Ancient Men, the hi-light for me on this one here.Also, Hueman is still keeping it as tight as ever with that track.RIP for real.Thats gotta be one of the best tracks ever dropped by anyone.Right up there with the best of them.Who did the beat?

Kaptain made that beat. Only Kaptain can make such beats. Also one of my favourite local tracks.

Kaptin got mad skills on the beat.That beat is too tight and so different.Hueman rode it superbly.
