Hi,
Ankha is giving a series of DJ Mastering workshops in all the major centres
of S.A. These workshops give you tips and techniques on how to squeeze the
last dB of level from your master and with her extensive vinyl cutting
experience, she will show DJ´s how to get the "Hottest" cuts onto vinyl
from their digital or analog masters.
Next workshop 11th, 12th, 13th July
Mastering Workshop Topics:
Phase coherency, Equalization and Loudness curves, Compression, Rooms and
Monitoring, Vinyl Mastering, Vinyl Jargon Buster, and Quality control
The DJ Mastering workshop is over two days and costs R800.00 per person,
all workshop material is supplied by Ankha. This is a "Hands On" workshop
so bring your master along with you.
Analog Synthesizer Workshop (1 day)
Ankha´s "Hands On" guided tour thru an analog synthesizer gives you an
in-depth look at each section and how it works. She shows you which
sections work with each other and how they work with each other, paying
particular attention to the modulation matrix. Lots of tips and techniques
to get you up and running A.S.A.P.
Software and hardware versions will be dealt with.
Ankha has been using analog synths since she was sixteen years old and
still has her Roland SH3, which is in perfect working order.
Cost of the Analog Synthesizer workshop, R450.00 per person
If you attend both workshops (3 days) cost is R1000.00 per person.
