A bloody double murder greeted staff of the Cape High Court and provincial government on Tuesday, when two bodies were found under the arches between Dorp and Wale streets in the city centre.Police said the two victims - a man and a woman - attacked each other at about 5am, when a heated argument turned into a stabbing frenzy. They did not appear to be vagrants.The bloodied bodies were found opposite a provincial government security entry point - 4 Dorp Street - and less than 50m from the Cape High Court steps.When the Cape Argus arrived, the bodies were covered with blue blankets and two yellow plastic cones marked the evidence, which included a black handbag.Police spokesperson Andre Traut said a fight broke out between the pair at about 5am and they stabbed each other to death.The man's identity document was found, showing him to be a 23-year-old Zimbabwean. The woman's identity is unknown. Traut said there was no sign of robbery and at this stage it looked as if the incident was a "typical domestic violence incident".
