Can any of you producers just say what cards you use ans which good quality ones you recommend for a producer with a low budget?

I think if u got a very low budget, then use a basic soundcard in the interim.U can always upgrade within 2 or 3 years, or more, depending on what u feel u wanna get.

A know peeps that have the Creative 24/96 (not the expensive audigy card) cards which was like probably R500.Thats pretty fine or even a normal Creative labs 5.1 card for now.

I'm currently using the Audiotrak Maya44 MKII.Its a very cool card. Not too expensive either.Havent really recorded with it as yet.Was about R1300 at Paul Bothners.
