Walls in Johannesburg and Pretoria...

Hello To all South African Writers!!! my name is Bruno, 22 years old, and I´m from a little country called Belgium. I come to South Africa next week and I would like to know where you can do some graffiti near Johannesburg or Pretoria? Could anyone PLEASE give me adresses of legal walls. Are there shops where you can buy good paint???

you should hook-up with or ask around for M.S.E (mzantsi street expressions), Osmic and his crew, Dj Blaize, Atom those names will get you to the right people. I guess you have to hook up with them first cause I heard stories where dudes had to be vigilant, know what I mean. That shouldnt discourage you, come through (and take pics!). The was like a whole section in parktown bombed out so i guess places like that will be "legal". Do something in Soweto, represent.

I went to skool there and there I learned everything about graffiti !! :-P

wow. you mean SA cops do that too? I think SAPS got too much more cases to deal with like MURDER, ROBBERY, COP KILLAS, RAPISTS, CRACK DEALERS, HIJACKERS than to be chasing writes around.

but I know it can get serious like some kid said some cops were shooting after him and one of my boys got canned for 1 day for "vandalising".

ha ha, last year they should just have closed the entrance after 8 cause all JHB graf heads were in there. ha ha
