From the sleepy coastal town of Swakopmund to the big city rhymes of Windhoek. This is the path Wambüseun aka LO2 has traveled and he’s quickly discovering routes. Whether it is his unique solo Afrikaans raps, stand-up comedy routines or unorthodox Rock n Roll collaborations, the multi-talented Wambüseun is rapidly building his brand and destined to blow-up as Namibia’s favourite entertainer.

Snazzy, as she is affectionately known by her fans, was born in Tsumeb on the 19th October 1987. Like most professionally successful musicians, she started singing, writing poetry and lyrics at an infantile age. Over the years, she fell in love with Hip-Hop and has since made it her forte. She is currently in Grade 12 at Windhoek’s Technical High School, where in 2003 she managed to be amongst the top students by attaining 40 points for her Grade 10 external exams. She aims to fulfil her envisaged short-term and long-term objectives by the end of the year. That includes, releasing her debut album and getting it distributed internationally…

The Namibian hip-hop scene continues to develop. Last week Friday saw Portuguese rapper The Scientist launch his new album “Tha Rules Of cience”.

Thursday October 21 saw the longest Cypha session to date. Why? Because there was mad drama in the house. What was supposed to be an all girls nite “out” turned out to be a heated discussion about the boundaries of music.

Stagga and Scar from Botswana had a Thursday date with the Cypha. The brothers didn’t pitch because they left Gabs City late. They arrived in Windhoek after 12am and by that time the Cypha freestyle session had come and gone, and Eraze was safely counting sheep in lala land…

With the varsity just re-opening, traffic on the show has been low. A lot of peeps still seem to be trying to get back into that school mode. Last week the show only had one guest, A.D., so Eraze had to jump on board and drop some freestyles as well. Read on for more details…

Thursday, 9:40pm X-Rate and Mic-Kanix joined Eraze on the Cypha. The show was threatening to be the wackest ever with no emcee up in the studio. We were all happy when Eraze finally announced that he had some emcees up in the Studio. Then Mc Ekks rolled thru as well…The freestyles begin….And guess what X-Rate came to do…
