Ipo Wax is set to release new solo EP with acclaimed LA / Orange County based hip-hop soldier Aloe Blacc of the group Emanon. Aloe Blacc MC / Producer signed a one off deal with Ipo Wax in 2003 and his debut solo EP “The Aloe Blacc EP” was released in 2003. His new EP for Ipo Wax and second EP is slated for release in September 2004.

Grammy nominated recording artist and multi-media star Snoop Dogg is recording an album tentatively titled R&G: (Rhythm & Gangsta) The Masterpiece to be released this fall. The album is set to be released November 23rd as a co-production between Doggy Style and Star Trak, through Geffen Records.

Then in 1992, Compton’s own Dr. Dre released his album The Chronic, which quickly became one of the biggest selling hip hop albums in history and led to Los Angeles replacing New York as the center for Hip Hop.
