Since 2004, fourteen children have disappeared in the small community of Modimolle in Limpopo. Eight of their tiny decomposing bodies were found in the surrounding mountains.

Kwaito artist Mandoza was back in the news for all the wrong reasons recently when he was involved in a horrific crash on Johannesburg’s N1 highway. Two people were killed instantly when the Daimler-Chrysler he was driving crashed into their VW Jetta.  He was on his way to the after-party for the Stars of Mzansi awards show.

Hanif-Jamiyl has been writing, recording, and performing since the age of 10. In 1994, while most high school kids were trying to figure out what college to attend, he was discovered in a local record store in his hometown of Springfield, Massachusetts as part of Maspyke, the CT-based group of which he is a member along with DJ Roddy Rod and Tableek. Maspyke eventually signed with Elektra Records, giving Hanif the opportunity to write and record with the likes of Doug E. Fresh, Q-Tip, Wordsworth, Chante Moore, Al B. Sure, Ronny Jordan, Toshi Kubuta and Robyn.

D'Angelo's top hits, music videos and collaborative tracks to date, including rare recordings for soundtracks and other compilations, have been gathered for the first time for The Best So Far … , a new career and label-spanning release that showcases his award-winning talents. Featuring 17 audio tracks and seven previously unreleased music videos, The Best So Far … will be released June 24 on CD/DVD by Virgin/EMI. A 15-track digital album and four video downloads will also debut June 24, as well as four ringtunes.
