Title: TBo's National Top 10!
Post by: MaddStone on June 10, 2006, 08:15:19 PM
Now I was listening to this when they were at Number 5 and was surprised to hear a song from Cape Town actually being played on that top 10.Its guys called Cover Boy & Papa Zee.Not familiar with them at all, I must be honest, unless those are their aliases and they usually go by other names.I dont know.Nevertheless, I was just surprised to hear CT on there.

i was lestening to Tbo's Metro top 10 and Cape Town gat #1 and #5.
#1 is Papa,Eureka & DK and #5 is Black Army from Khayelitsha. All these artists are based and Cape Town. I got on the net that they come from a record label called Struggle Entertainment. You can actually get their song on this URL:

Quite nice to see some movement regarding more commercially appealing Indie HIP HOP Labels in Cape Town.Lets see how things pan out with their hustle.I dont know much bout them, only what I read, but hey..........good luck to them.

Btw, just checked this track out as well.If Papa Zee raps first, then I must say he sound a lot like Fiddy them.Got that same lazy style. But hey it works for the track.
