Nobody get's washed up in hip hop dude.... on of the rules (one of my my rules) is you can't diss the old school.... it's like telling me that DMX was wack... i was never a fan at all...hated him... but there were people who loved him, and he certainly did his thing to grow hip hop.... you call these guys washed up on a relative basis, and we can't compare old school rappers with new school rappers.... we can't compare old school producers with new school producers..... come on.... these guys captured somebody's imagination at the time, and we need to respect that... i think LL Cool J is a better example than DMX... he's struggling to capture the new hip hop audiences' imagination.... doesn't mean he's washed up or wack... times have moved on....
