To really appreciate some of these tracks I think you have to read the inlay.
Besides the artwork, there are words & thoughts (incl shouts to Jay Electronica..).
It really enhanced my listening.
esp "Telephone" dedicated to Dilla...

Dont think it was gwan ruin the track is she featured common, pharoah or black thought on that one..i mean the cats she worked with before to make those hit songs...just my opinion ..!

There is minimal rapping on E Badu albums (none on Baduism or Mama's Gun I think...right? ) & I believe they are better for it.
