I used to like Grime before it became overrated. Back in 2002, I heard about
a UK Garage group called So Solid but I was confused about the Garage sound.
Later, I became interested when Garage became Grime during the So Solid -
Roll Deep Crew (when Dizzee was in the crew) beef. I'd say 2002-2005 was the
golden age of Grime until stations like BBC 1Xtra killed it to death. I like the old
school UK Garage stuff from 1993-2004 ( 4/4 House, Old School Speed Garage,
 and 2-step).

so solid are pioneers...its a young scene so it cant be dead.

rol deep is still doing big things,
kiss fm is the only station that plays grime legally..LOGAN SAMA!
D DOUBLE E is still around, wiley's been around since he was sixteen...

the grime scene is doing something new for hip-hop, sub ba**lines and claps! jamaican yardie raps, shank man rhymes! what more could you want.

Yeah, So Solid were pioneers of Grime since they gave that Gangsta Rap image
to Garage but I would also say that some of the early Garage MCs were responsible as well; MC Creed, PSG, MC Viper, God's Gift (Pay As U Go- Roll Deep),
MC Kie, and MC Sharky. They've been around from 1994-2000ish when Pirate stations played Garage music.

My favorite Pirates are Vybe 99.5 and Ice Cold FM (Im amazed that they're online)
and favorite legal station is Radioweb.tv. Pressure Radio is ok for Old School Garage but theres is no Grime.
