Anyway, let me join in. I’ll just leave out certain people ‘cause I think it’ll be awkward meeting them if they found out about my name dropping
- Met Fezile Mpela on new years eve last year at a friends house. I forgot that he’s an actor and i thought he was somebody i know and this motherf***er played along. That was cool but i felt like a fool a bit.
- I’ve met Zola a couple a few times. He’s a really cool dude, plus Zulu boy too.
- Met Mimi (from Tsha-Tsha) and that taxi owner old man(Maphobongwe (sp)) in that series Mzansi briefly, forgot his name.
- Clayton, that dude who held Boniswa (is that her name, Khaphelas sister?) and her friends hostage on Generation, grew up on the street around the corner from me. I saw him on Rhythm City yesterday. We were cool before he considered himself a celebrity. SMH. Its still cool seeing him on TV though, always feels like he’s representing us (Gugs cats :)).
- Grew up with Loyiso Gola, before they moved to the burbs. We still cool. He’s a down to earth mofo ...and crazy too.

I interviewed Zuma a few months ago. His daughter is hot.
Got drunk at Fezile Mpela's house two weeks ago. He is a cool dude. Came walking down the hall in his underpants though when he got drunk, which wasn't cool. His girl is super hot.
Had the entire Black Noise Crew sleep over at my house once while they were on tour. Also had a few b-boy cyphers with them.

talking about AMU, i smacked the dudes cap off his head at Rocka at the J-Live gig. He got mad and he didnt notice it was me, he thought it was one of his boys. me on the other hand only realised once his cap was off that his not who i thought he was. I thought he was Meli from 5th Floor. It was the first time i noticed that AMU and Meli look alike. I let him know though that i had mistaken him for someone else.

Met ZTL Codek whilst I was still living in Jsec some years ago. Could not believe it was him. I still have his autograph. He was actually down to earth, which was surprising considering that he is such a famous artist. It was the same time he released Quick Click and it was being played all the time on radio. Could not believe that he stayed so humble despite the success. People should learn from him and not let a little bit of fame (appearing in Hype, Channel O, doing overseas shows, appearing on magazines, selling a few CDs at Musica, a few endorsement deals with corporates, radio interviews, sharing the stage with famous artists, having chart topping tracks, etc) go to their head. Here was this guy, one of the greatest artists of our generation with over 100 million copies sold giving me a few minutes of his time and taking interest in me. Never met another famous guy like that! I hear his next album will be out soon and will include a DVD with footage of his latest performances.
I met Killer F in Cape Town about two months ago. Said he was in SA for a week long holiday & might come back later for a performance at Madiba’s Birthday bash in Qunu. He could not even pronounce Qunu. Funny.
I met MR at Spar in Queenstown recently. I was there for a week for a project we are doing in the EC over the next three months. Gave me a signed copy of his album. Said I should check him out rocking shows at Lady Frere, Queens and Cala. Claimed to be quite popular with the ladies of Lady Frere.

When these guys got signed to Ghetto Ruff.. the were given an advance of R30 000. 10 Stacks each...Ghetto Ruff at the time was housed at Polygram, just off Pybus road in Sandton. These ninjas walked across to Sandton City and bought all types of sneakers, gear and some other shit.... like not even that much shit. But it was a shoppind spree..
They came back a few hours later... and all the dough was finished... Everything. The had to ask for more dough to get home. That was probably one of the most ignorant industry things Ive seen.
