Title: Remix project

...so I just moved into my new place and have got one room set aside as a studio.

It needs some work (I don't even have a desk chair yet and my beat-up-a** couch is still on the ground floor!) but my partner and I are going to make it slick. I think the room has a nice punchy sound already.

I'm doing a fair amount of production for my own project (need that beat Nyambo!) but I was bumping Kidz in the Hall, 'Driving Down the Block' the other day and ended up scripting a short verse just for fun.

I think it'd be fun (and let me test out my abilities) if I could do a 'Driving Down the Block' African remix with a whole bunch of MCs on it.

Be nice to get as diverse a bunch of talents as possible. I'll find us an instrumental, peeps can record their verses and hit me back. I'll mix and master. Anybody on this motherf***er be up for it?

im not a rapper but wud like to hear what will come of this. especially with cats on here being invited to be on it. good one.

Get cypha kids from all 9 provinces to submit their ish. Cos nt every1 whos in da spotlight is holdin' heat....

I'm not putting garbage on there - what do you take me for? Hopefully a few people will submit and if it's dope it goes on. This isn't a competition but it's not going to automatic either.

16 Bars a pop.

I'll find the instrumental, but you'll notice that at the 1 and 8 bar mark there is a 'Driving down the block' vocal sample you need to incorporate into your verse.
