yeah, i havent heard of the DJ, just Zaki, but i think i've only heard one of her songs (guess she's blown up)

ok before i begin, can i brag that i got the original Eclectica-Episodes in purple. and get this.... it was personally mailed to me, by Dave Guenette, co-founder of district six music.
ok... so where do i begin. uh miss zaki ibrahim as most know is half canadian and half South African. Her dad is one of the founders of bush radio, zane ibrahim. shes based in canada where she runs her label district six(D6), and under that label the likes of tumi and the volume, who by the by catapulted the district six movement are under the label, and the dusty foot philosopher-k'naan, the pocket dwellers, dj l'oquenz, dj nana *who i thought would accompany her* are all there. shes doing big things and for some who are still wondering if they have heard her music, you might know her from blink twice off tumi's- music from my good eye! Guys, im a self confessed groupie, and with reason, i love the woman and if you have ever seen a mad woman hanging out her window on the jhb roads, it might have been me, and i was probably listening to her. but im sure to all those coming to party ppl, you'l know its me.

it is deejay absolut. calls himself op these days. used to have some of his mixtapes in the '90s. some exclusive queens music. noyd, littles,mobb deep and stuff.
this would be the first party people i ll miss this year... thts thhe best gig in SA for me. been in lagos for couple of weeks now and 'the shrine" is my spot here.

dope? Is that all you can put together to describe, indescribable talent??? How dare u!! Lol... I was all up in there! Front row, screamin to ALL the songs. fizzled out, after her show, left early around 2am. Oh and I got to meet her, hug her twice& she signed my cd sleeve. Uh bliss!! :-)

Yeah...it was really cool....I enjoyed myself as well. She's gat very soulful music...like Jill Scott kinda tip. Eish I noticed they were some nice shorties in that gig.....I was like WHOA
