I just picked up the album 'The Technician' by Robo.
Wow. Wow wow wow. I am unbelievably impressed. It's like the El-P of South Africa, all dense glitchy rhythms and bizarre rhymes. Super dope shit.
Anybody else got that? Thoughts

Robo's been around for a while. Him and Omen ( producer behind most of ProKid's HITS) were once in a group but went in different directions later.

Rob do you mind upping at least one of the tracks. Last time i heard robo was on 'baby and' on the thabs ish. I didn't really feel it back then so would be interesting to hear the changes..

To my understanding Robo & Omen go way back, I do believe they had an EP out back in the nineties or something called "Day 7", Snazz D was playing some of their stuff on tape, when he came to Germany in 1999, was some really fresh sounding stuff, would love to get my hands on that Robo CD, i bet it's solid!
Who is on it? Is it on Iapetus? Who is on the beats? Robby Oner please do tell!

Robo is the shit. was impressed from the very first time i heard him on the Hymphatic Thaps album. Heard another joint from him last year from an upload by Raiko (Not For Hype i think i was called). Would love to get my hands on this album.
Dude is really good, its in the way that he writes.

Ha! yo, I remember about 8 years ago or something, there was this cat at Lenox Mall in Atlanta, GA from Johannesburg, he had a CDr with some of his stuff on it he was trying to push out front of the Mall, when we started talking, he couldn't keep Robo & Omen out his mouth, kept going on and on about how nice these cats were back then, the cats name was Jewels, case any one here knows him, shout out to him right now, the way he kept on about Robo & Omen had me quite curious...
