Good Day Ladies & Gentlemen...Welcome to it
As some would know, I did an album in 2006 titled Postmodern Innovations. I released it in October 2007 and re-released it in November 2008.
I have decided to let the bloggers, web freaks and bootleggers do what they do best - get it out to even more people. The link to the project may be found below.
I cannot really say much about the music you will find on it except that it's one of my favourite records to play. However, I would love for you to leave comments if and when you have the time. Tell me what you hate about it, love about it, what you find a turn on, a turn off, what fascinates you, what you think is...blah blah blah, etc. Even questions are most welcome. I'll answear them as best as I can.

P.S. - This is NOT music to rap to...unless you wish to prove yourself ignorant.

Pricing for beats obviously vary from an indie artist, published artist and signed artist. I have inboxed you prices for and indie artist

Honestly Cap City music is quite rare to get a hold of - let alone hard copy. What i do know is that was cause we were all new to the industry and never really the music would pop in the way it has. Dudes would print like 200 copies or whatever. Your best bet is going to the capital and hook up with the artists themselves. Things have changed and are changing for the better though... Enjoy the album!

Thank you for downloading Mr. C. Nothing on the album was played. When i did this one i couldn't afford keys and was also not interested(big mistake). So the entire record was sampled. I am however playing my new beats...

Thank you so much for the love. I'm happy you like the record. If i may, funny you mention how i sync the ba** and drums. Those two items happen to be my favourite on any piece of music. The melodies of the samples are catchy, cool and all that - fair enough. The ba** however gives the track foundation - character. Drums are what i call "the time keepers." They determine how your body moves. Drums for the most part are more neglected...
P.S - Hard copies are still on sale for those who cannot get it on the net. Or more importantly, for those who like to keep hard copies for their collection - like myself. I dig local music on hard copy although to get a hold of it.

Listened to the album... Smooth serene soundz... I can live my life to such a soundtrack.
Been a fan of the music for a minute but I never got to hear such a jazzy side... Can I say cla**ic? For a beat tape, I'll say so.

Postmodern Innovations is the best intrumental record...I've ever glued my ears on. The music is so cool......I like the way the guest beatmakers/producers put on their beats as well. Nice instrumental indeed.
However Thir(13)teen did a lot of dope beats for Cap Citi cats...I wish I could get hold of his entire work.......include my fav. Hakeem - Things changed a lot...Look at you now.....Mmmmm the beat

@X - I think it is a cla**ic, PERSONALLY. If others debate it then i can only allow. But for it to be a TRUE cla**ic, the streets have to talk. Just enjoy bumpin it. I made it for easy listening. I do jazz for me or on request.
@Superb - Im just glad you here it as an INSTRUMENTAL RECORD. And not a bunch of beats i threw together...eish. That was the biggest challange.
New beats are hard hitters though, nothing like these. One day il do another instrumental

@Mtho87 - sorry 4 the delay homey. My (production) setup is not really crazy, i just have the necessities: Cool Ed 2, Nuendo 3.0, VSTs, Reason 4.0, MIDI Keyboard, Skytec Turntable, PS-676 Pro2 Gemini Mixer, Technics Monitors, Ecco & Jax10 Amp and my trusty old records. It dsnt luk as impressive in real life so don't think im all that. Hope i broke that down proper...

I know its old but i like Cool Ed. I have a vintage collection of software i keep. I find moving with the times isnt always great so i slow it down - back to basics :-)
