what's the advantage to using it for online purchases when compared to just using a credit card (which is what i do).

i understand you can use it to deposit money directly into someone's account, almost instantly, no matter where they are in the world?

I havent used it in some time i hope the upgrade to link with south africa.

Sa banks have been cockblocking this move for a while, they'd be shitting bricks "what you mean we cant tax them? Say it aint so" :o

to be honest i only use it for ebay... otherwise i just register my credit card normally (with amazon etc.) and it doesn't cost a thing if you use your credit card like a normal debit card, just deposit the cash in the card before buying shit people ;)
