Title: The 2010/2011 NBA Thread
Post by: rob_one on October 07, 2010, 10:03:47 AM
NBA Preseason is open. Flags stuck in the ground already. Who you got? Who's your pick, based on what you've seen so far?

My Bulls fell to Milwaukee, D-Wade off with an injury, Bosh and James do OK.

Jersey? As in, the Nets? Surely not! Besides, before long you'll have to go to Brooklyn...

I'm just really excited about the Lakers vs    Celtics/Miami final.

I do think though it'll be Celtics with a point to prove to Miami for that number2 spot. The smacktalk there is going to be memorable. Rondo and Pierce won't be able to hold back. James already said he's not going to forget all those talking smack - sideways response to Rondo saying who? Lakers is their only competition. Damn I'm getting excited already.

Maybe they'll be some epic surprises for that silver medal, you never know. The surprise would epic.

It's on. "I'm Kobe Bryant ready." - Banks

Anyone here seen the Lakers loose to Barcelona on the NBA preseason Euro tour? The Lakers need a better point guard for real, Fisher is getting up there in age...

Fisher is clutch - I believe with matt barnes LA has even more grit and determination along with Ron artest. Three-peat anyone?

This is gonna be a hype season can't wait for it to start really...the balance of power has shifted east...heat, orlando, celts and bulls...

I can't believe the hawks gave joe johnson all that money...he is not a max player things are about to go downhill for that squad...out of the top 4, maybe they only give the celts problems due to old age..

That's an odd list. No Lebron? No Wade? Lewis higher than KG? Where's the list from?

from forbes my dude,   lebron isn't even in the top 20, wade earns less than bosh and lebron, he's on 14 mil bosh is on 14.6 mil. i also thought it was quite odd. but also realize this is just what they negotiate with the franchises to pay them, doesn't include endorsements for instance Kobe goes up to about 50 mil after endorsements, lebron is a close 40 mil after endorsements
