Title: Aggro Berlin

Yo Jahfish. How about some stuff from Berlin/ Aggro Berlin? Ha ha I was watching SIDO's Mein Block RMX. Funny ish. Is it really like that gangsta up there? I need to check it out.

anyway which other deutsch hiphop albums do you recommend. I am really out of touch with the scene this year. Last year belonged to Sammy Deluxe, had good beats. That Azad joint is it any good? Need to stock up before I bounce this side.

that's funny ... i am doing flash animations for their website right now ...

you can check the unfinished preview right here:

actually, i have to admit that i am not really into german hiphop, beeing a frenchman and groving up with acts like akhenaton & iam, lunatic/booba, saian supa crew, ntm, lone & busta flex .... i hardly ever found any german stuff that could take it to a comparable level.

the french really found their own way of "hiphop" and their own sound!
the germans have done it "the american way" for too long ...

to answer your question .... the aggro people come from from a rugged environment, but they aint really gangsta. i dont think berlin has ever really been gangsta.

and what can i recommend?

defenitely my boy marc (dj hype) & his pianoman Jim Dunloop:
