greetings peeps!i've got a bone to pick with Amu. i was listening to that track (tonight,i think it's called) by selwyn and mxo and i kinda thought it was the ish.i mean, i was giving it mad props(it being the beat) since it sort of drifted away from the usual S.A hip hop beats and it did so in quite a interesting way(i bumped it chilling with my girl and she instantly fell in love with it !).So today i'm feeling kinda jovial and not in need of hip hop which makes sense and i put on a wycleff album.What do you know,i find out that wycleff has a song with exactly the beats used by Amu on selwyn's song.It was not just sampled or bitten,IT WAS CLONED!Shame on you Amu!I'm a patriot of S.A hip hop , i love it to the core and the beats i hear these days truly blow my mind.It makes me realise that there's a whole lot of Dre's right here at home but Amu done PHUCKED up!So all i'm saying is that were's the creative genius you supposedly posses?or did you bite that skill too?The funny thing is,skill cannot be created/bitten,it's like the law of conservation of energy,it's simply a god given talent and you're bound to get caught out sooner or later.i'd rather stick to studying chem eng than to got out there, bite some1's beat and then claim 2 have skillz!anyway,thats my word!gotta get back to studying.1

I have heard the original song where it was sampled from and i too thought that it was genius the way he flipped it and how they MXO and Sel dealt with it. I am yet to hear the wyclef track can you give more details on it.
i doubt he would be that dumb(AMU) to clone a well known producer of the Wyclef calibre!
but hey who knows?
now is that grounds to suddenly not feel the track no more? I am wierd like that i guess if the beat is dope and the rapping is tight..shit i dont f***ing care if you stole a beat i know and slowed the tempo down two beats..if it dope its dope..don't get me wrong coz i can feel beatmakers / producers anger ! i am an arist too and for me the satisfaction is in the final product, if someone took my sculpture and maybe put an extra nose and sold it for millions..i'd be pissed but if its a dope piece at the end its a dope piece and i can't front i would have not put an extra nose AT ALL..so i'd be kinda inspired to look at my work differently..BUT its all about how much..f*** i am tired of typing!

A dope track is a dope track. However aint no dope thing about a "FULLY SAMPLED TRACK". This is not even a sample the nigga stole the whole track bra's. From a beats piont of view Amu didn't do much to change the beat, hence we should pay much respect to him for that beat. however Selwin (however u spell that shit rappers name) and MXO did do a good job. My beef is with Amu as the "producer of the beat". Reckon Enthropy should upload the track. Hell both The Cleff track and the selwin track.

I'd be interested to hear Amu's creative rationale behind that beat selection.
I guess it depends where the sample and the beat come from. If both Amu and Wyclef just happened to use the sample sample there's nothing wrong with that). If Amu sampled Wyclef I guess it could just be a remix but then shouldn't it be credited to Wyclef on Selwyn's album?

I mean i do not belive anyone would have such lack of foresight..EVERYONE(well not everyone) knows wyclef so AMU must have known this now the question is why bite something people are likley to hear something don't add up..if he bit from some cat like blockhead maybe..but then again block head don't drop bangers!!

Yeah, I heard AMu's used to doing such things.I dont know man.Well, to each his own.U do what u do and if that makes u happy, who are we to say much.Maybe the record company paid lots to clear it though.U never know.

This is jus a low side to Amu's production but catz can't deny Amu brings heat.
The latest of his production was very beautiful, ya'll can't deny he killed the prokid jointz, that "the way i shud" track is one of my favorite local trackz, the way those strings were freaked is jus wow. He jus needs to stop demoting himself by such things. He still brings heat, no doubt!!

Yeah, thermodynamics kicks a little nigga a** big time, i know from fisrt hand experience! Come to think about it, i might know who entropy is if that dood comes from UCT, i can narrow it down, i know most catz around that department, i'll keep you posted, don't think will mention any real names though, AMU might be after his a** for exposing him.

Yeah, Thermo can be one big scare when u experience it firsthand.Its like it comes out of nowhere and kicks u in the butt.Then Applied Thermo flips it on u, in a way.......and u thinking "WHat the heck".But hey, in the end it all makes a little bit of sense.........to a degree.Get it?Degree. :wink: Silly pun.

i used to think chemical engineering is the dumbest(second to civil) form of engineering, for some reason I always thought it had something to do with being in a lab doing experiment ALL day and i was like who they f*** wants to 9-5 in a lab all day....i know i know.
Till I started working in the mining industry and I found that you dn't work in a LAB at ALL shit AND here is the kicker!! YOU DONT DO EXPERIMENTS AT ALL hahahaha, i remmber this guy explaining how they cuase a reaction on a particular rock, reverse the reaction and out pops the diamond and i was like dude what the f***?, what did you study mining?, he was like Nope chemical enginnering and i was like shit you dont work in the Lab do you? he was like no, and was like aight!!!
