@Threads

truth.com

I guess it also depends in what it is you want from a woman. quick access to a** involves a bit of investment. essentially its a transaction, so it makes sense. from the womans side, she wants a good time, and free shit. but in order for her to get this, she needs to give up the tote. from the guys side, he just wants to smash. but in order form him to smash, he needs to supply the good time, and ''free shit'' the girl is after

choose your targets carefully. just to throw a spanner in the works, there are girls that can afford everything on their own, and dont need the ''free shit'' from you. they just want the pipe. but those are pretty hard to find

That Kendrick Lamar album/mixtape has been on constant repeat, for at least 2 weeks. Its flawless...
J-Cole has really grown as a producer. That Hiii power joint is just stooopid!

Some worthy mentions, in addition to Big KRIT - Return of 4eva,

Nottz - You Need this music
Mac Miller - Kids
XV - Zero Heroes
Fashawn - Higher Learning 2

I think its been a good year for Hip Hop. Maybe not as many dope drops as we all would like, but there are some young cats coming through that are completely changing the land scape of hip hop right now.

In my personal opinion i think that J-Cole is leading the pack

yeah,  i get it. SA will disregard its commitment to long term trade agreements  with its current trading partners and  the Chinese will buy each and every single South African export. Even the ones they dont need. They are over 1 billion afterall. obviously South Africans will be happy to wear knock off gear and all other GREAT products the PRC has to offer. You guys are on to something

LOL!!

imo BB don't really innovate on the hardware, UI or software fronts. Only thing they have going for them is BBM. Apps like WhatsApp are mimicing that functionality across platforms anyway so BB got nothing.

true indeed...
even if whatsapp isnt trully free in the actual sense of the word, it is still an exponentially cheaper alternative to sms, and the fact that it is not limited to one platform alone gives it the edge in terms of broader reach. blackberry had a good idea initially, and for a short while, they managed to push units soley based on the bbm infrastructure they were promoting, but now that there are a wider range of applications that offer a similar and in the case of whatsapp...more advanced application, they are bound to see their sales wain. especially because they have NOTHING else to offer, besides the free on device internet browsing package, which can easily be offset by getting the cell c once

personally...i believe android is the future of smartphones. i currently own a sony ericson xperia x10. i am eagerly waiting for the galaxy sII to drop and then i will be the happiest dude ever

i just hope it comes in at a decent price

^^^if u don't mind me asking, why don't you want to do the circumcision?

the question should be why do they want me to do circumcision? everybody who trying to explain why i need to do hasn't given me a good enough reason for me to do it.

Judging by your previous post you seem like a pretty traditional man, one that value your tradition more than religion or ‘Western world’ influences. You make reference to the fact that they covered your African attire with their jacket, which wasn’t altogether African and how there was so much reference to the Christian God which you feel is not appropriate for a traditional ceremony. So here’s a reason I think you should get circumcised, because it’s part of your Xhosa tradition. I mean if you’re such a firm believer in tradition then surely this being part of your tradition is something you should be more than happy to embark on. Or are you doing the same thing that you stand so highly in judgment of, which is isolating parts of your tradition, remixing them and making them suit you and your lifestyle? You seem to have a problem with the western world having so much influence yet you yourself aren’t following your tradition. Please do correct me if I’m wrong.

sustained.

Is instilling fear the only way of maintaining order? maybe let me be more specific,  once a teenager isnt afraid of a parent the parent is pretty much screwed cos there is not way in which the teenager can be controlled, or is there?

when i was growing up, i was never above an a** whupping, the fear of that kept me on the straight and narrow (or made me hide my shit proper cos of the a** whupping)

u can transpose that into any other realm u want.  my question still stands, is there a way of maintaining order without instilling fear? (cos we cannot trust in our inherent discerning between right and wrong anymore)

i grew up under similar circumstances. the bible says

“Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” Proverbs 22:6

this holds true to me in particular, cos even as an adult, even though i know i will not get an a**whipping, i still find myself hiding things from them in fear of being repremanded by them.

i think fear, once deaply instilled, can definately be used as a means to instill order.

another example, although pretty random, most guys dont want to mess up, and go to jail, for fear of being raped. the bad kind of male rape...as brick would put it

But seriously, I'm alarmed at the number of people who had happy, expensive weddings in their early to mid twenties and were divorced by 30. I know a girl whose been divorced TWICE by 30.

Mind you she gave the 2nd husband money for lobola, paid for their R 200,000 wedding, paid for his car and clothing accounts as well as his child support for 4 kids he had with other women. All to be married.

tell us the full story about this person. the reasons she got divorced twice as well please, sounds interesting
