I was sitting around doing nothing and this thought came to me. The 'economic crisis' or whatever you want to call it, that we're in right now, started in America, and is mostly America's fault, but their problems have spread over the world and now we're all suffering economically, more or less. But when America or any other Western countries go through a economic boom, good times, then that success isnt really transported to the rest of the (third) world.

Just a though.

I don't want anyone to try and explain it to me like Im a simpleton, Im just pointing it out.
And yes, I am bitter about the economy

Any body else not like these vile creatures? Hadeda "most hated bird, disrupt my sleep, wake the dogs and the neighbours baby" Ibis. I say we start a movement to rid ourselves of these vermin! There are tons of these m*therf@ckers! When I've had a long night, and I'm just about to fall asleep, twenty of these bastards decide to take flight, but do they have to make that noise!?!?! I wonder how hadeda meat tastes... There's an idea, we can feed them to the poor! We can "kill two birds with one stone" so to speak! (lol)

Scientists have discovered that if you're trying to attract a partner, an athletic body helps but a good-looking face is more important.The science of attraction is complex; researchers have highlighted numerous cues that may affect how attractive someone is. Suggestions have ranged from facial symmetry to the ratio between body volume and height.

Many previous experiments tended to focus on just one of these factors at a time. But a study published in Evolution and Human Behavior is among the first to shed light on the relative importance of two traits.

The scientists set out to look at the relative importance of faces and bodies in making someone attractive. They showed 127 male and 133 female volunteers ten images of members of the opposite sex. The experiment took place over the internet, letting the scientists test more subjects than would have been possible if they had tried to get everyone into the lab.

Well whaddaya know? A bit pre-mature imho:

OSLO (Reuters) - U.S. President Barack Obama won the Nobel Peace Prize on Friday for giving the world "hope for a better future" and striving for nuclear disarmament, in a surprise award that drew criticism as well as praise.

The decision to bestow one of the world's top accolades on a president less than nine months into his first term, who has yet to score a major foreign policy success, provoked gasps of surprise from journalists at the announcement in Oslo.

The Norwegian Nobel Committee praised Obama for "his extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples."

The first African-American to hold his country's highest office, Obama has called for disarmament and worked to restart the stalled Middle East peace process since taking office in January

So apparently the numbers in your ID number actually mean something. We all know the first six numbersgive your Date Of Birth, but what do all the other numbers mean? Apparently the last four give your gender and race. Is this true? Anyone know what the numbers in your ID stand for?

TEL AVIV (Reuters) - Retired American track and field star Carl Lewis has blamed South African athletics authorities for the predicament of the nation's world champion Caster Semenya, whom a report says is a hermaphrodite.

The IAAF, athletics' world governing body, said last week medical experts were examining the results of gender tests on Semenya, who won the women's 800 meters at last month's world championships in Berlin.

No decision is expected until late November but the IAAF has declined to confirm a report last week in Australia's Daily Telegraph newspaper which said the runner had both male and female sexual characteristics.

Lewis said he was upset by the handling of the affair.

This has been bugging me for a while. Ladies: if you catch a guy "eying" you, i.e. checking you out, i.e. getting an eyeful, i.e. admiring your feminine qualities...you get the picture...do you find it flattering or digusting. I mean suuuuure, if you think the dude is good looking I'm sure you'd be flattered. But, herm *coff*, if the guy happens NOT to be good-looking, then what, are you still flattered, or disgsted?

And am I the only guy who thinks about this? Tell me I am not alone!
