^LOL true dat.. but i would def agree on the west coast element that kurupt def eclipses Crooked I (maybe im just biased).

But i wanna ask cats and this is not hate - its merely because i am in no ways excited by slaughterhouse (i fear the album will be a long a** cypher - i hope im wrong) because all these guys had potential to be dons and have really underachieved in my view BUT do you cats think that this album will be better than EMC's the show? or really be that dope?

 i doubt their album will be better than EMC after all they hype. and if they prove me right they can really eat a fat one!!

Peewee I agreed with you in the other thread before..but I've just had my first listen thru the Slaug(H)terhouse (I like my H's on the side!) album and its sounding kinda like something serious!!

heard this joint a while back from SubZero, THE BEAT IS BANANAS, the FLOW IS MONSTROUS, gla to see its officialy out...for real, youl niccas @ 25 to LYF are really on some cooking with gas isht, i cant wait for the 25 to Lyf Vol 2...that and the SNYPA KIDD mixtape...still tryna get a beat at the kid cos he murders beats yo....too dope...and to be quite honest, its about time niccas wrote conceptual rhymes, JOHNNY is such a track, rhyming is much like beatmaking, in that, its at times easy to lace bar after bar if you just going willy nilly with your flow or beat patterning...but the trick is to do it with a concept in mind and execute it to a T....

youl got a winning formula in the Kid, KEEP ON!

He is good no doubt..but great? What has he acheived in his career up to now apart from being top scorer in Serie A last season? (and I think you will find his average is closer to 19, not 25) How many did Eto score?  And look at shevchenko after he left Italy..A straight swap would be more reasonable..but PLUS 40 mil? AND Hleb? come on now thats ridiculous...I just think he still has alot to prove!

Oh No is nice with the rhymes & beats, Alchemist is at the top of his career right now, album just dropped & wsa nominated for best album of the year by the underground hiphop awards...def am checking for this...but i dont think it will be a permanant thing, probably will drop a couple of albums at best like Madlib & Dilla

Yeah Alchemists album is DOPE! Its been on repeat!

i wouldnt be too excited, ive been listening to Black Milk's music lately and i fear its falling into the monotonous stage of creation. cat only has drums working for hom if you ask me & those are quickly fading into obscurity because although his sound is unique, its getting too predictable, but i guess for cats who love it and "expect" him to drop it like that they wont be dissapointed...ive been listening to alot of Guilty Sim and i think he's ready, not to say he hasnt been paying dues, but i belive his way of delivery & writing has def matured, he'l need to have prowess & tons of creativity if he's to f*** with Sean P...Rock is able to do it cos they are both commical...but Guilty isnt...we'll see i guess...

Yeah i havent hurd too much of Black Milk to comment, but I loved Tronic..though it was a really good album..but i'm not a producer so I'm sure I dnt hear what you hear most the time.
And yeah, anyone on a track with Sean P has to be at their best, cos P is a BEAST!

i cant wait to hear Bishop & chino on a joint...

yeah individually all these dudes r dope..no denying that...but I dunno bout them together. To me, they just don't seem to have that chemistry to be a great group. Its as if their limited commercial success has forced them to work together, not the fact they actually suit each others style and have a good chemistry..knw wot im sayin?

I dunno we'll see how the album turns out..but I dnt think its goin to be groundbreaking or anything. It will be on point lyrically..but you need more than that.



On a side note: Thoughts on these other groups poppin up?

Wudup J-One could you upload it to a different service like zshare or limelinx so we can preview it without having to download..I knw some people have slow connections and quotas so don't want to download something without previewing it.
