diggin out this thread to give some props to masta ace as well! one of my alltime favorite MCees .... saw him live last year again! he rocked the place!
he's got a huge underground fan community here too ... his gigs are always sold out!

love that cunningulists track too! and i got a promo track called "again" which is dope!

and i had the honor to do a record cover for him, deejay hype and killa kella! Ace and hype got their own Adidas Signature Sneaker with snake leather and gold plated stipes  

every now and then masta ace is like "i stop rappin" and plans to support his football team and do other things .... but he always ends up comin out with another album!

and i hope it never stops!

haha that was a good one! it's just the same with benz-drivers in germany ... i guess the attitude is part of the deal and exported as well when u get one of these ...

might be safety thing ... they used to be the safest cars for a whole while ... so people just feel safer and take less care what's goin on around them ...  i call it the "tank" syndrome ...

i can recommend takin some Wing Chung courses .... it's a asian self-defensive technique which was created by a female nun long ago ... it basically uses the adversary's force and is very usefull. u learn a whole bunch of mean tricks ...
there's is not much of a philosophy and an art, you don't learn to fight but to walk through your adversary!

i know what u mean ..... when cats just do their stuff just with the use of a computer, print out something, frame it and say it's graffitti art and act like a diva .... that's when i usually start wondering as well ... what the f***!?

graffitti art cant be a 100% computer product  ....

it just works for characters and logos used for advertising/printing ....

i respect an artist who gets his influences from graf writers, but don't let the fact that you spend your time on an i mac, whilst graf writers spend their time on the streets, make you feel better than them

yeah, it's exactly the opposite for me .... using the computer a lot as i was working a lot in the advertising industry in between, i kinda lost my drawing talents a bit. so i have that much more respect for all the talented cats out there creating art with minimalistic methods ...  and i have often chosen to outsource some of that work to those really master of the art (check the mtv clip on my side, i just animated SPECTERs characters & drawings).
