All I feel is that he's criticizing artists to buy union numbers.Guilt trip style.

initialy i came here to post links to hip hop images for an audience who wanted to know what's happening and how hiphop is being used as a vehicle to uplift the youth.
also to network based on peoples responses to my pics and colaborate.

i took a major break last year from hiphop shoots with my family commitments needing more attention , but I am slowly re entering with a better focus.
aint much changed tho....
lots of people who want everything for free but moan when they get underpaid at gigs or get asked to perform "for exposure".

other than that I come here for comedy and talking a little hiphop to people who dont just listen to radio fluff.

think its …..hhhmmmm …. yep…. it is… mc’s just bite off lyrics nowadays, and dont seem to put more effort in what they script. Infact, they say nothing at all …. pissed off … so, as producers, we are to blame cuz we bring out the best in them cliche by serving dope beats…

he he he...amusing.
interesting nonetheless.

Congrats on the gig!!!!

i just finished jimi hendrix's biography.
"a room full of mirrors" by mr cross.

while jimi had an interesting , wild , frustratiing life i dont think the book did the chaos justice.

i also finished the autobiography of charles mingus which was hilarious and abviously included more fiction than fact.
he tells tales of his pimping days amongst other things.

can anybody recommend a good autobigraphy?
i also found the leadsinger of RHCP'S autobiog the best i have ever read in this genre.

@witness in silence: the album you mentioned sounds interesting. Suggestions for how to get hold of it?

i can try and get hold of a copy for you - its R50...i think,
one more thing...its in afrikaans.

which is another reason why most think there are not tik-raps.
let's be honest the tik problem is most prevalent in coloured communities and that's why most of it is likely to be in afrikaans.
