One of the most anticipated hiphop shows of the year began with Tigger roaming around the backstage of the entire arena. It had features of what it takes to prepare a successful show, sold out with some of the biggest names in the game. The stage was blessed by people such as Snoop, Game, Rick Ross, T.I, Lil John....and many more. WWWWWWWWhaaaaaaaaaat!!! it got better when the line up included Papoose, then a cypher footage knocked heads to sleep with illicite verses from Rhymefest, Saigon, Sway and a promising rapper who obviosly wasnt promising enough for me to remember his name.

Some of the interesting awards were as follows

BET Crowd mover award- Buster Rhymes
Lyricist of the year- Common
Album of year-T.I
Hustler of the year- Jay z
hip Hop Icon of the year-Grandmaster Flash
.....blaa bllaaa bbllaaaa..etc

Honestly it could have been better but the problem is real niggaz dont vote, too busy criticising the game instead of support our fellow artists who diserve it.

The non other than Busa Bus salutes as Grand master flash gives his royal speech about how important Dj's are in rap music and if you ask me the man should write for some of these politicians.

every body follows whats on t.v and no one is innovative.

How many bones have turned to dust, the same dust some of our black sisters eat, same dust we build with and pant food on. We are a sick society of animals and it is with no doubt that we are walking on a million dead corpses everyday. The is no solution, i mean you cant neccessarily scrape all the dust and burry it to shore. WE A DOOMED TO DWELL ON DEATH ITSELF!!!!!!!!!!

Ok this is my personal opinion and feel free to debate here!!!

CLUB MONYAKA was the were it was at, SBK the VAAL daddy!!!!!!

The line up was Smug trevuz, Golden Shovil, AlFa, Cuba and ...more

When i heard the track LOD dropped with Smug, It wasnt hard to see that S.A is full of politics and our brothers and sisters can match the international standards anytime. Keith Murry doesnt do much on it but L.O.D mufuccccckers sounded fresh on it. They werent there so he had to perform it on a track. A long the line came Shovil to feature and support his fellow homie Trevuz bust mics open. our ALfa performace had me thinkin we were gonna have problems since the ddj has beef with one of my boys. We approech the stange and u can smelll the tension as he says "oh ya'll niggaz, only one track" by the time it was done dat boy had to rewind it. Who you know performs one track three times in one night ,guess dj playa hater couldnt resist the realness Cuba blessed us infinitly and where ever you are sis, stay BLAZIN!

Wizardry came thru late and of coz smoked mics like he pose to.
