Translate? I'm a lil lost. u mean from sepedi (Mpho) ands giving the definition? I figure if the listener is listening they'll catch it.
But yeah, my point being that my conception was the when i was wrapped, so thats when i started rapping... You could go on to say i was unwrapped at birth. but yeah 16 bars to put down 20 years... I tried.

1987 I was born into a land with no equality
But as a post democratic kid it didn't bother me
They honoured me, with the name Mpho which means Gift
So rapping (wrapping) began in the womb not as a teen, kid
In Grade One, the great one, Madiba was president
& I walked through a white a neighbourhood as a resident
& saw high walls & fences - where's the unity?
Realised its every man for himself around puberty

Around when the feminine kind started amusing me
A few of them has venom inside and started bruising me
& Foolishly I let one slip past the charming,
I gave my heart to her & she threw it back hardened.
I learnt in my two decades how to fight,
Life & times - In time, i learnt to live life
Learned to be inquisitive, yearned to be wise
& I learned to realise you learn till you die

the first 16 of the joint :?
Peace Preachaz!!!

Ah guy I'm working on that on a production tip. I need a good artist tho.

Someone who can lace it right.

anyways, Da' T.R.U.T.H I illy as a mother Flip!!!!! Eternal respect on the Moment of truth Album!!! I needa cop Faith tho, but I heard it & its also Dope.

Lemme Give you a good list.

1. da Truth
2. Braile (Shades of grey)
3. R-Swift (Revotionary Theme Music is a hip hop cla**ic)
4. Rob Hogde
5. New Breed
6. Mars Ill
7. Nine
8. T-Bone (Wack at times)
9. The Cross Movement as a whole & individually

The list is hard to put in order but I agree with yo opinions.

Top 3 is pretty accurate tho and all of them need to be copped

But yo its a huge industry and always more to discover, esp thru podcasts like Soul Bombing  :D

Yo Buddies... u need to understand its an illusion. Its always good to be a composer, but bring your composed beats up against sampled beats and you lose. You see you dont get the same sample quality from Reason or Fruity ect than a sample simply coz its genuine. To me, a heavy 3 and a half year user of reason it took me about a year to recognise Reason piano from a mile away. IT SOUNDS CHEAP. thats when i got into sampling coz its a real piano played by a real person not the unnatural reason sound, unless maybe one's using a MIDI Keyboard.

Bottom line. If you're looking to get something that sounds real, sample. If you willin to compromise on that you better conjure up an illy a** melody. The way I do is I try mutate & alter th sample and add stuff around it. Usually if I play my sampled beats without the sample, it sounds great, coz its not just drums. there are supporting melodies in place and that requires a great deal of creativity. Even more so with those beats that I sample & can almost guarantee that u wont find where I sampled it from. trust me u can get MAD creative with a sample. above & beyond composing.

I just think once we composers get off our composing high horse & stop taking shots & knocks at samplers, we can learn a lot from them and ultimately surpa** & beat them at their own game using that composing creativity they lack. I learnt loads on drums & ba** from samplers simply coz thats all they effectively do originally when they produce.

OPEN YOUR MIND!!!

If you feelin me whats the word???
