General Discussion / Re: The Game talks about 50 being scared of Africa
« on: November 14, 2008, 06:58:48 PM »
The game recently went on tour 2 tha "DARK CONTINENT" and talk'd about how 50 is scar'd 2 kUm 2 certain parts of Africa 'n dude wld never bIn sIn again on the entire continent. It involved his lyf being threatend, guns being pointd at him and planes being divertd bt dozens of guerillaz bt apparently 50 didn't enjoy it 2 much....THISISHOW it went down: FIFF entourage
were getting on a plane to leave from Nigeria to Congo to head to the next show and there seemed to be a problem with the pilot. He wasn't taking off right away and he seemed to be talking to someone on the radio, seemingly in a panic. All of the sudden, about 10 jeeps roll out of the jungle with guns drawn toward the plane. They stop and one man gets out of a jeep and comes up to the plane demanding to be let in. The pilot lets him in and in broken english, the man starts yelling that he "is the king of this country WHAT? and they must respect and pay him". Dude continues to get rowdy and Fif's bodyguards eventually have enough. They rough up "The King of Nigeria" and throw him off the plane onto the runway.

After this, all hell breaks loose. The soldiers get rowdy and get out of their truck and surround the plane with guns pointed towards the plane. At this point, Fif and the Unit panic. Yayo deploys the emergency escape slide and Fif, Banks, whoo kid, and Yayo slide down and pile into the truck that they arrived. Yayo hops in the driver seat and ties the door handle to the steering wheel with his shirt so the door can't be opened and he won't be dragged out and killed. Fifty is in the pa**enger seat with Banks, whoo kid and a dude namd "lucky" all piled up in the small a** back seat of the small truck.

People are shouting and it seems as though things are about to go down. Apparently, the promoter of the show eventually calmed down the "KING"....(We're guessing he was the head of the drug trade) and paid dude off and allowed them to leave. Fif however, obviously stated that he would never return to do a show in Africa. There ain't enough money in the world worth it."..............i was lyk,"This is When Thugs Cry"... :D ;) :D ;) :D ;D ;D screws loose show respect >:( >:(,HOLLERBACK AT YO FCKN BOY!!!

yes...starring Don Cheadle..or eddie f***in murphy what kinda nonsense is this? sounds like some American movie based on Africa- whats this dude smokin, IDIOT...some1 oughta shoot this guy, really  >:(

Man. been witing for the warmonger to drop for so long that I'm no longer evn checking for that style. How about Fungus. One of the illest lyricists back then. Where's the mixtape? album? Nada. Waiting for K9, The Federation, Golden Shovel & those type of cats to drop now. not checking out anyone on the commercial front cause guys dont wait there. they drop their stuff. some wack. some tight. Anything I wait for, actually arrives. underground is something else. co sign on prouctivity killing cats. I waited & wiated for Sharpa. had to end up going back to groundworks. but I had been into that style 5 years back. i wanted fresh beats. fresh rhymes. Sibot beats. some creative Ish.anyway, I havent got a copy coz they dont have a copy where i'm at. but when i knock off tommorrow, I'm going to the malls 7 copping. need something for the road this weekend.

Fungus is dope, i think he's stil performin wid 5th floor right, correct me if i'm wrong. I did hear sumthn about a solo EP comin out soon. and nondepiction? whateva happened 2 this dude?danm...kingpinn n nondepict wuda ruled this underground shyeet f*** wat yall think!! RIP man...

warmonger seems 2 be focusin on the tv thing right now, he's dope but i think thabs can give em a run fo his money any day  ;)
thabz has been consistent wid his material n shown a bit more discipline in that regard (even tho we all know the boy has a drinkin problem..i tink it's safe 2 say),  Gini grindith had a promo out a while ago- raiko mite have mo info...

apart from inconsistency, UG cats have some horrid vices tho...Just sumn i've noticed, i dont wana mention names cuz i know sumo the cats log in on AG- and know where i live so... maybe thats just the underground way, but smokin blunts all day n frequent run ins wid the law will hamper the whole movement's productivity.

On the real though, i always hear/read the same 5 questions from these bonobos...

Who did you work with on this album?
what can we expect from this album?
what was the inspiration...?
what do you do when you're not working?
do you have a message for the youth out there?

and always in that f***ing order...

and artists always have the same answer, all the f***ing time...

some FAQs (such as the ones in bold) are actually necessary, depending on the kind of interview. If an artist has just, or is about to release an unheard album i think people would love to have an idea of the sound, inspiration, direction and etc. You can't expect the artist to sit there fo 20 minutes talkin about politics, or answering some totally random and unrelated questions. the same applies to new aritists being introduced on a public platform fo the first time- certain FAQs r necessary in that regard i think
