It's easier to have faith in something out there (and omnipotent and omniscient), than it is to believe that you shape your own destiny and to take responsibility for some of the actions in your life.

Does Zeitgeist offer any alternatives to religion. It's all good and well to criticise religion, but i think the human mind (and soul) would instantly implode without anything to replace religion....

Tell me what you think. This is part of a concept called deadly games (in conjunction with my peop Obscure)

Deadly games part 1

There was this player I used to kick it with as a little kid.
We were raised studs and didn’t give a shit.
We’d chill at the right corners and cross ideas
one goal in mind. Score some girls. Get some beers.

Then came a time to expand our field.
Throw in guns and drugs. Strike a scam and deal.

But after few lives were lost in shoot-outs with cops
i pulled up my socks and thought out the box.
Told him..."Kid you don’t have a shot!!!
You should know when to stop! You going over the top!
Your attempts will end across bars, with cop cars it’s endless!"

He took offence to that and raised his defences.
He says it’s lies and for us to stay alive he’ll take the dive. In fate it lies.
So he stays on the prowl, playing around. But eventually stays on the ground!

Turns out someone blew the whistle on him.
A victim of sins and and the sinister grin.
Now he’s put on the spot they questioning him.
About to pay the penalty for him and his men.

I wish he could be saved

If we're gonna get pissed off at this...then you can't let all the other images of "stupid-black" slide.

The worst is the Nando's ad (where the black priest is playing dice, and the black guy puts his shoes on the wrong feet Has nothing to do with chicken)

We all wanna laugh, but if it compromises the dignity of a people we gotta be careful what we laughing at.

If you black and you offended by Zapiro's "monkey business" remember to feel the same when you laugh at other stereotype-based jokes about other races (coloureds with no teeth, white boere traffic cops, indian salesman... the list goes on and on)

We gotta get a solid new team ready to recommence the show. Looking to start the show on 08/08/08.

This time around we gonna have to be on point with:

Presenting--> Producing (layout and features) of the show and hosting it on Bush Radio
Researchers --> Compiling information, topic ideas, interviewing, covering gigs, archiving
Marketers
online consultants

etc.

NB!!! you won't be getting money for this (not yet anyway). So it's gotta be people who are serious about hip hop. Also if you're gonna be involved in presenting...own transport is essential.
