I truly am lost in the semantics without a grip (subjectivity coming into play sometimes has that effect).
How would the 'experimental' be defined then, or go as far as what's 'avant-garde', where both could
be said to also reconstruct the already existing? Lines are all too blurry methinks.

Would be redundant since you've already answered my question I think, but then again we all don't seem
to always think that far.

Anyway, thanx

A tad bit off topic, but has anyone heard anything about Doom's new album 'Born into this'?

Agatha Christie? 'knock the dust of this bitch'? Is that after you pet her dry cheekbones
with baby oil while you fondle her in her coffin?

Or is it Angela Lansbury you mean?

Folding necrophilia to your list of strokers there. Right on

Anyone here heard his music?

Came across his work while looking up some videos on youtube, with the first track i heard of his being with Doom. Not ever having any quarrels with MF's efforts at making dope music, i was lead to looking up more stuff from this Clutchy Hopkins audio enigma of sort.

Sadly, no one actually knows who he (could be a she, so thats all inclusive to bra burners) is. Speculations stretch from it being possible pseudonyms of The Beastie Boys, Dj Shadow to Cut Chemist. Couldn't help but lough when i read that Madlib has been tossed into question too. With Stonesthrow's known inclinations with alter egos and infinite a.k.a's, I doubt it is, but then again who knows?

Yes, the idea that it could just be a middle-aged hippie on the run form officials in Czechoslovakia, living in a basement with a little more than a tambourine and some ism has crossed my mind, but i think I like their versions a tad bit better. I might be mad delayed, cause all the "hype" around him was sparked off early last year.

Some stuff of his

What's a trip is reading up on his supposed life. This site gives more links

Anyway, who cares?

Nice is an understatement,I think is beautiful, full of life and I like the feeling I got when I first laid my eyes on it.
It gives me hope to still have faith in this huge rush rush  city named Jozi.

Beautiful work right there,amazing. :)

Bet you gently stroked it with your mouse when no one was looking. Do you feel dirty now? Just wondering.

Guess you were one of those alternative poets since the word 'black' was omitted
from your name. you clearly didn't fail to follow the rest of the manual so i'm sure
you were forgiven for that...
what's interesting was your choice of subject matter... care to share a line or two, or
are those days left forever tossed in the chasms of blah blah blah.....

I love it when people don't get the joke.

A joke you say... glad u cleared that one up for us and rea**ured me that there exists one
more mammal out there familiar with the concept

I used to be a poet too. Used to call myself Eternal-cloud-of-Africa-blocking-the-harsh-rays-of-western-sun-which-means-to-shrivel-up-our-culture.

I used to perform my poetry dressed in camos and army boots made in Asian sweathops and criticise Nike and Timberland for exploiting the third world.
Sometimes I used to make up words just because I wanted to sound as deep as the other cats and I did poems about important issues like my periods and how men are evil bastards.

How fitting, i'd like my first reply on ag to be titled...'untitled'

would the thread starter mind shedding light on why the calculated
pauses between words? afta my fair share of poetry gigs chilling next
to pseudo hippies wearing nikes, it started to sound like most of them source
from the same questionable dealer ... if only it were possible to get with saul
williams' connect since he is considered as otherwise...ahh
