Illmad, i take it you're the father around here. Word of advice, if you're going to speak that way to me, dont post it on AG to show people how tough you think you are. You've got my details, bring it to me straight! Im here for music not to play with kiddies. Oh & by the way my album is out - Postmodern Innovations. Get it now

Do not use waist your time learning how to make music using Reason if you will not put your all in it. It demands dedication and a whole lot of hours off your sleep. If its gathering dust delete it. However one you've mastered it the only thing that will hold you back is making the bed you peed on and brushing your already yellow teeth.

This payment for beats argument will never see its end. If a cat can stick n move to give a producer at least R 300.00 to R 500.00 unsigned then we can do this. Producers cannot always do it for free, they sacrifice to bring sound so they need be met by the emcee. If you both believe in the product so much - SACRIFICE - the blessings follow. Get a part-time, whatever, just make it happen

Quite a heavy topic. All i wann say is before you are recognized to be a dope producer deserving payment from majors there will be sacrifices to be made. You will be exploited by unsigned cats who will make loot of you without paying. You will be well-known through your music but still broke cause you gave a weak emcee a dope beat. That is a norm in the game. However, my only advice is when your name (through your music) begins to become a brand, make sure cats do not even breathe on a hihat less you getting something into your pocket. Producers dont use oxygen to make music.
