General Discussion / AQ - The Portrait: of a well-known stranger

It is with great pleasure to announce that the heavy weight rhyme-writer AQ of both the Cap City quartet Ba4za and the critically-acclaimed duo AQ & Thir[13]teen will be releasing his solo debut album "The Portrait: of a well-known stranger", under the umbrella of Press Play Music. Apart from doing some of the production on the record, the label will also manage and publish the artist.

The move has been followed by a decision to pull the album back from publication for a few more months. The current material is solid, however both AQ and Press Play Music have found it fit to restructure the product slightly and deliver a more comprehensive package. Although this may come as sad news for some, this is an a**urance from both parties that the final product will make up for the current set back.

Please contact Press Play Music for further info concerning this or other label interests.

P.S - For the graphic haters, NO the attachement is NOT the official cover!!

Peace Buff. Just a few questions. Where was the single recorded and who mixed it? Also who is doing the mastering of the project?

Thats much clearer. I thought we ran  judgement on program usage, not comparisons with previous work. Still all good. Its been a blast yall. Got some crazy projects comin up so il be scarce. For every Reason user FruityOops brought four - still a fare fight. PEACE!

Thank u drumbeater. Although u dont specify what part never impressed you. Oh well, its program battle so i dont expect love from brother. Heard yours too. I liked the funky feel - problem is, it tickles instead of gettin me shook. Nice try though...

We should hook an annual LIVE show for beat battles

@Sir Black. When your beat kinda sounds like the 50 cent single, Get Up. Not bad. Ok, i liked your approach. Grimy, Battle-type sound. Thats dope cs u werent here to give back ma**ages and rub our toes. SAMPLE-gritty n grimy. Experience will teach you better but for now, proper. Ba**-wudv made a difference to me had you had your own but it wsnt a major blow. DRUMS-i peep where youre coming from but i PERSONALLY didnt like them. They werent bad. INNOVATION-i liked the fact that you had support you had for your core loop. I wont recommend the backing sounds you used though, way 2 unattached to your beat. BUT you had them, it shows you undastand what a battle is - bringing sound! Thumbs up from Thir[13]teen...i mean...After12

@che. My apologies, jst realised i dnt hv your beat. I promise to get it sm time next week and give my two cents worth.

@Soul Amazin, think of FruityOops as the BROAD GATE and think of Reason as the NARROW PATH. The chosen few walk the narrow path that leads to EVERLASTING BEATS.lol*pullin a leg*
